We will teach you how to enjoy a downhill run in a safe and controlled manner in a few hours.
What you will learn in this course:
- E-bike setup / information about removing batteries and other parts
- Tips on brake, seat and pedal position settings
- Basic position uphill & downhill
- Support levels / gear selection
- Correct braking (braking exercises)
- Different surfaces in the terrain
- Slow, technical riding

Enduro Downhill - Private lessons

Bike Academy instructors not only know the region perfectly but also have technical skills up to “World Cup” level . They can therefore fully cater for your beginner to expert level classes requests, daily from late May to early October.
For better progress, a minimum of 2 (Downhill) and 3 consecutive hours (enduro) is strongly advised.
The time and meeting place will be set according to your wishes. Lessons are available by the hour, half day or at a daily rate for adults and kids from the age of 8. See website for full details.

Biker1 - All inc. beginner DH course - half day

Get an introduction to downhill mountain biking. The routes are easy and the slopes gentle. Suitable for the occasional mountain biker and kids from the age of 10.
The package includes :
- Mountain Bike (semi-rigid suitable for downhill) or Fat Bike (XXL tyres)
- Knee protectors
- Helmet
- Lifts
- Supevision

Beginner, Advanced & Freeride - 3 hour lessons

Choose from the Beginner Basic course, Advanced Basic or Free Ride Basic course.
The Beginner Basic covers essential mountain bike techniques such as body position, braking, cornering (e.g. gravel turns) etc. Advanced Basic course covers more challenging techniques (bunny hops & wheelies) and handling small jumps, drops, rocky steps, switchbacks etc. The Free Ride Basic course is for experienced downhill bikers looking to improve their technique.
