One of Europe’s most popular resorts attracting thousands of mountain bikers every year, Les Gets, Morzine, Avoriaz and Chatel are four interconnected bike parks offering a huge choice of downhill runs averaging around 2km in length with more burms, drops and jumps than anyone can count. Morzine sits between Les Gets and the traffic-free resort of Avoriaz. Whilst the village of Chatel is much further away, its bike park is connected to Avoriaz by trails and lifts in both directions. From Avoriaz it’s also possible to reach the Champery-Morgins Bikepark in Switzerland. You can buy one lift pass for all 5 parks.

The resorts sit in the Portes du Soleil, Europe’s largest transnational ski and mountain bike area. The place where Tahnee Seagrave learnt to ride and a training ground for many other down hill champions, Les Gets has been hosting international MTB competitions since 1992 from UCI to Crankworx events. Despite its reputation, there are plenty of beginner to intermediate runs, a kid’s zone, mini jump park, two pump tracks and a kid’s north shore area.
