How do I dial my bike, how do I change my tube, what do I need to check, which lubes to apply and where? This is a brief intro to setting up your bike and being prepared for maintenance en route.


With inside knowledge of all rideable trails we help you plan your own MTB itinerary. Discover natural single track routes through pine forests and over moonscape mountain passes with lunch stops at alpine huts along the way.

XTR Bikepacking

Experience true alpine wilderness navigating rugged terrain through isolated mountain landscapes. Stay overnight in a remote alpine refuge. We recommend riding with a guide - contact us for further price information.

Endless riding options

From the lodge you have direct access to over 250 km of off-road mountain bike trails.

All trails are mapped, clearly marked and signposted to the nearest village. High alpine huts and refuges are dotted about serving local wines, cheeses and polenta dishes.

Our alpine lodge offers four comfortable bunk beds and one double bed. We accommodate solo riders, couples and small groups of up to eight. Prices are based on shared lodgings and meals prepared at the lodge.

We accept most forms of electronic payment including credit cards. For advance bookings made more than 30 days before the start date of the camp, we request a non-refundable 25% deposit to register your participation. Payment of the balance is required no later than 30 days prior to the start date of the camp.


For Last Minute bookings made less than 30 days prior to the start date of the camp payment is required in full. Please contact us to make a last minute booking.


Payment in installments can be arranged for reservations made more than 90 days in advance. Please contact us.


All bookings made more than 90 days before the camp start date receive a 10% discount.


Camp stays start on Sunday evening and end Saturday morning. For additional dates, please contact us. Challenges are also run throughout the season.


Just click on the Sign Up button at the top of our website. You will be asked to pay a non-refundable 25% deposit. Once arrangements have been confirmed, a final confirmation email will be issued on receipt of the outstanding balance, no later than 30 days before the start date. If for any reason we are unable to confirm your booking, your deposit and any installments paid to us will be refunded in full. For last minute bookings, please contact us directly.

A program of activities is organized for each camp, geared to the participants’ preferences, fitness and riding ability. Bespoke activities can also be arranged.

There are a number of mountain huts serving food that you can ride to in addition to a number of restaurants in the valley. A typical three course meal in a restaurant including wine costs around CHF 50 a head. We are more than happy to prepare a packed lunch for you at no extra cost.

We can accommodate larger groups, subject to availability. Please contact us with your dates, number of participants and any further requirements.

We make sure that everyone eats well, guaranteed. We will do our very best to accommodate any special diet requests you may have. Please let us know when you sign up.

Yes however if you choose to bring your own bike, you are entirely responsible for its maintenance and repair and for bringing any spare parts. We cannot guarantee that the contents of the Survival Pack will be suitable for your bike. We will refund the cost of bike hire however you will need to pay for and arrange transportation of your bike. You will also be entirely responsible for any damages caused to your bike. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage caused to your bike whilst it is in our care. We cannot guarantee that a replacement bike will be available in the event of a serious breakage / failure.  

Yes, as long as they have a standard 9/16 inch x 20 tpi thread. However, you will be entirely responsible for any issues arising through the use of your pedals. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage caused to your pedals whilst in our care. We cannot guarantee that matching replacement pedals will be available in the event of a serious breakage / failure.  

All trails are mapped, clearly marked and signposted to the nearest village. Mobile phone coverage is extensive. Each participant is issued with a GPS tracking device as well as a paper map. For the Challenge, a safety officer will be riding the same trail. For MTB camps, a guide can be provided.

Your survival pack includes a basic set of tools and puncture repair kit. Should you be unable to repair the bike or if damage is more severe, you should call for assistance.
Our team at Pure MTB are trained first aiders. Your survival pack includes a first aid kit. Should any injuries require medical attention, you will be brought to the nearest hospital. Helicopter rescue is available if the injured person cannot be moved or otherwise transported.

You will need to take out travel and medical insurance covering you for mountain biking activities. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects. Purchase insurance once your trip is confirmed and paid in full. Mountain bikes provided by Pure MTB are insured.

All riders registering for the Pure MTB Challenge or Camp will be required to read and sign a Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement, a copy of which can be found on our website. Upon signing our waiver it will form part of your contract with Pure MTB.

Your deposit is non-refundable and we are unable to offer refunds should you or any other member of your party decide to cancel. On receipt of your final booking confirmation we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover you in case of cancellation.

Payment of the balance of the trip price is due 30 days before the start date. If this balance is not paid on or before the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.
