LOCATION

Pure MTB is based in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland known as Ticino, in the village of Campo Blenio set between the Adula and Gotthard mountain ranges. With direct access to over 250km of off-road single track, our location offers bikers of all abilities and experience the purest form of mountain bike riding.

In Ticino, mountain trails are open to walkers and riders alike. Bikes are welcome on board public transport including the local ski lifts. Ticino is also known for being one of the driest regions of the Alps, so there’s plenty of dirt to throw around! Check out this review of the region from Red Bull.

Switzerland offers an incredible 8’000km of designated mountain bike routes. Trails are clearly sign posted, mapped and easy to follow. Trail maps are also readily available online. Whether you’ve never challenged a mountain before or endurance is already your middle name, Pure MTB paradise awaits you!

ACCOMMODATION

Our alpine lodge is a great place to chillax, BBQ and hang out with friends. There’s comfortable shared accommodation, secure bike storage, space to work on your bike and access to an outdoor, wood fired hot tub. Nutritious meals, fresh juices and organic locally sourced produce help complement this secret mountain biking paradise.

There are four comfortable bunk beds and one double bed. We accommodate solo riders, couples and small groups of up to eight. Full-board shared accommodation is available from Sunday night up to and including Friday night.

ABOUT US

From the Great British trails of South Wales, to Snowdonia and the Great Scottish Borders to the untamed slopes of Switzerland, in 2018 we set out to explore a relatively undiscovered region of the Adula Alps. Spectacular, raw, natural trails in a pure mountain setting inspired the creation of a big mountain challenge and bike camp, a place to build and test off-piste riding abilities. Then came the bikes, then came the lodge and the rest is history!
